through the Iraqi Airways and generates profits estimated at 140 million dollars in addition to opening a jet fuel station at Baghdad International Airport.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Transportation, the first joint meeting took place in the oil training center in Baghdad, between the ministries of transportation and oil in the presence of the two ministers, Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Baqir al-Zubaidi , deputies of the Ministry of Oil , the Inspector General of the Ministry of Transportation , a number of general managers and specialists in the two ministries.

The statement pointed out that the agenda included discussing the issue of contract management and operation of Khor Al-Zubair berths (2, 3 and 4) by the Oil Ministry to import oil derivatives.

The statement quoted the Minister of Transportation , Baqir al-Zubaidi as saying that these meetings solidified relations and unite visions between the two ministries, where previously we practice the same experience with the Ministries of Trade and Industry and had a positive response in the solution of all problems at work.

The statement added that working with the Ministry of Oil has great specificity in terms of rehabilitation pavements of petroleum products in addition to transferring Chinese Asian labor through the Iraqi Airways, which will provide at least $ 140 million a year in addition to the profits that will achieve for Iraqi Airways.

The statement said then the subject of Iraqi Airways aircraft equipped with jet fuel allocated to it was discussed, by the Ministry of Oil as specialists in the two ministries submitted clear vision on the subject of training cadres in the Iraqi ports for ports management in addition to support staff of technicians and engineers in management of ports

The Minister of Transportation noted that further cooperation between the two ministries was discussed by opening a fuel station in Baghdad's airport for the Ministry of Oil to contribute to supply aircrafts and special vehicles at the airport.
