Some news reports have announced the arrival of Kurdish oil to Morocco , as the spokesman of KRG , Safeen Dazia that KRG has reached the intended target without the announcement of the name of the country that bought the oil .
According to sources in KRG , selling the Kurdish oil became a reality, as the case in the oil contracts concluded by KRG with foreign companies that are not recognized by the Iraqi government in Baghdad until now , but the companies still continue to work with them.
Kurdish media said in news briefed by “Shafaq News " , that “ the spokesman for KRG, Safeen Dazia said that the ship carrying the oil of Kurdistan has arrived to its destination and was dealt with according to the daily price of oil and the quality.
Dazia renewed emphasis on the continuation of KRG to export oil from the wells of the region.
For his part, Deputy Chairman of the Natural Resources Committee in Kurdistan Parliament , Dilshad Shaaban , a member of Kurdistan Democratic Party said in a statement to the official website of the party, followed by “Shafaq News " , that “ the region has exported 2 million and 500 barrels of oil so far , adding that it did not receive amounts of the sell till now as that may take a month.
Shaaban said that the region is selling oil according to international prices , explaining that there was 2 million and 500 barrels of oil in stores in Turkey and has been sold in two phases , the first sale was one million barrels , and the second was 1 million and 500 barrels of European countries , including Germany and Italy .
Shaaban pointed out that the head of KRG , Nechirvan Barzani will attend Kurdistan Parliament on Wednesday , explaining that he will meet with the heads of parliamentary blocs to talk about oil revenues and the sale of oil of Kurdistan , how to export the region 's oil , how to sell it and the size of its revenues .
He concluded by saying that it is difficult to reach at the moment amounts sale of oil , because reaching Kurdistan Region needs time , adding that also the region can borrow money from international banks and give them back when received amounts of oil revenues.
