Activities of the Joint Economic Forum began today between Italy and Kurdistan Region, in the capital, Erbil, to promote economic and trade relations between Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Italy.

“Convening this forum comes within the framework of strengthening and enhancing trade and industrial relations and raise the prospects of joint cooperation between his country and Kurdistan Region through major companies and commercial centers of Italy,” The Italian ambassador, Massimo Maruti said during a speech at the forum attended by “Shafaq News”.

For his part, Falah Mustafa , Chairman of External Relations Department confirmed in a speech on behalf of KRG on “openness policy pursued by KRG, thanks to its clear directions and aspirations of an and stable effective government, in addition to having a quality plan aimed at the development and revitalization of Kurdistan Region”.
