Mulla said in a press release that " it was agreed to provide Jordan and Egypt with surplus of crude oil and natural gas in Iraq as well as the export of Iraqi gas through Jordan and Egypt by the Arab Gas Pipeline."

Egypt is suffering from high energy bills because of the large fuel subsidies that turned the country in which its population is approaching to 90 million people from pure energy exporter to a pure importer for it during the past few years.

Mulla said also " it was agreed to study the appropriate mechanism for the export of Iraqi crude oil to Egypt and Jordan through the implementation of modern pipeline project to al-Aqaba."
