Ceyhan - Kirkuk pipeline has been stopped for most periods since June 21, due to leakage problems.

The line that contains medium sulfur transmits Kirkuk’s crude to Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean.

According to Reuter’s news, briefed by “Shafaq News”,” there are about 400 thousand barrels in the reservoirs, but the Turkish tanker has sailed without being loaded with crude”.

Iraqi oil pipelines to Turkey stop pumping often, due to technical problems and others linked to armed attacks on the conveyor lines.

The repeated stop of pumping oil through the pipeline was one of the main reasons for the declining Iraqi crude exports over the last two months.
