“The Iraqi Airways will open soon Baghdad – Baku airline, followed by Baghdad - Georgia," adding that "the lines have great tourist importance,” The Associate Director of the company, Majid al-Amiri told “Shafaq News”.
“The company will open Baghdad - Stockholm (Sweden) airline also and stressed the importance of exchanging visits, especially as a lot of Iraqi families live in Sweden,” he added.
Iraqi Airways resumed work after lifting the blockade on the country in 2003, but the country's air fleet was destroyed or outdated as a result of stop working for more than 10 years.
