It is still not clear how to license 3G frequencies or how to sell it, as the statement of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers did not disclose further details or the date for the implementation of the resolution.

The statement, which was received by “Shafaq News " said that "the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced the approval of   granting the mobile phone companies operating in Iraq the right to use frequencies of the third generation (3G) ."

He added that "the purpose of approving the use frequencies of 3G is to provide services with high quality ."
