The leading company in oil production in the region said while announcing the results for the first half of this year briefed by “Shafaq News” that “we can sense clear signs of a positive political power in the region”.

It pointed out that "the infrastructure to export oil from Kurdistan Region independently has almost finished”.

The company has kept its forecast unchanged in its announcement at an annual income in the range of 300 to 400 million $ to a production of 45 to 55 thousand barrels per day.

The Minister of Natural Resources in Kurdistan Region, Ashti Hawrami denied in the 11th of current month, charges of the federal government in Baghdad to the region to export crude oil without coordination with the centre.

But Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister , Hussain al-Shahristani for energy affairs has renewed several days after Hawrami’s statement accusing the region of smuggling oil and that companies such as Exxon Mobil and Total, violated Iraqi laws by contracting with Kurdistan Regional Government without the approval of the federal government.
