According to a statement issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation received by Shafaq News , the line was opened by one flight a week on Tuesdays starting from 22/9/2015.

The statement identified the trip price, which it described as low $ 250 for the first four flights only , without a visa as the Iraqi Airways ticket is considered the entry visa as the price after the four flights will be ($ 430).
