Abdul-Mahdi said that, "We held at the ministry headquarters an important workshop in this regard in order to listen to all views and proposals, but what’s important is to speed up the legislation of the oil and gas law, which regulates the relationship between the producing provinces , the region and the federal government that should not remain in the range of interpretations of the constitutional texts that we submitted in the Council of Ministers and stressed the importance of expediting the enactment of the oil and gas law , this legislation is in everyone's interest to become right , clear and legal in resources and management of oil operation of all the producing provinces for oil and gas.
