The Iraqi government to recover Iraqi funds frozen in Italy

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday that it is seeking to recover frozen Iraqi funds.

A spokesman for the Ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said that work is underway to recover the Iraqi funds frozen in Italy since the former regime’s era, indicating that they amount to about 600 million euros.
