Shafaq News / A spokesman for the Iranian Customs Authority, Ruhollah Latifi, announced on Saturday that Iraq ranks first of exports countries importing vegetables and fruits from Iran.
Latifi said in a statement to local media, "Iran exported one million 94.539 tons of summer vegetables and fruits in 5 months, with a revenue of 241.167.512 dollars.
He added, "37 countries, including Britain, Canada, Australia, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Germany, Russia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Poland, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Norway, Oman, Iraq and other countries imported Iranian summer fruits and vegetables during the mentioned period."
He pointed out that "Iraq tops the list of importing countries with a value that exceeded 109.5 million dollars, followed by the Emirates with 53.925 million dollars, and Oman 12.861 million dollars."
