Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) auctioned more than $129 million in foreign currency today, Sunday.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that CBI's sales of foreign currency in today’s auction amounted to $129,863,411, down by 7.69%, compared to last Thursday's $208,011,266.
Our correspondent explained that seven banks and five exchange companies cashed $47.37 million, while the $145,493,411 went to boost funds abroad in the form of credit and non-cash transactions, with 32 banks meeting those demands.
