Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) auctioned about $200 million in foreign currency today.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that CBI's foreign currency sales in today's auction amounted to $208,818,800, increasing by 30 %.
Our correspondent explained that ten banks cashed $164,298,800, while the $44,520,000 went to boost funds abroad in the form of credit and non-cash transactions, with 34 banks and four exchange companies meeting those demands.
