On Tuesday, Iraq’s Basrah crude rose with a drop in global oil prices.
Basrah Heavy increased by $1.35, or 2.40%, to $57.72 per barrel, while Basra Medium also gained $1.35, rising 2.29% to $60.27 per barrel.
Brent crude futures edged lower by 6 cents, or 0.1%, to $62.01 per barrel by 0440 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude slipped 9 cents, or 0.16%, to $57.92.
