Basrah crude prices slipped slightly on Wednesday even as global oil benchmarks rose on renewed supply concerns.

Basrah Heavy crude fell 9 cents, or 0.14%, to $64.38 a barrel. Basrah Medium also declined 9 cents, or 0.13%, to $67.63.

The dip came as Brent crude gained to $65.93 and US West Texas Intermediate to $62.72, supported by fears that sanctions on Russian exports could persist amid protracted peace talks with Ukraine.
